Camel Trekking & Night in Desert Erg Chebbi Merzouga

Camel Trekking 1 Night in Erg Chebbi Merzouga :
Tour:
(1 Night in desert ) begins in evening, we organise the camel ride for the night in desert from a hotel near the sand dunes, The camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert for 1:30min, We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara,this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset ,It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire,we will spend the night in nomad tents ,In the morning we will ride the camels backing to Merzouga , you’ll have the breakfest and shower in the hotel in Merzouga.

This trip for 2 night in desert begins afternoon, and we organise the camel ride for the night in desert from desert hotel near the sand dunes. During this trip you’ll visit and have lunch with Berber nomad family near the border between Morocco and Algeria. The trek will start right into into the the highest sand dunes in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After we arrive to the desert camp we will take the sand board and we walk to the highest dunes to watch the sunset. We will have dinner at the desert camp and we will enjoy Berber drums music around a fire in the middle of the Sahara desert. We will spend the night in nomad tents.

We will wake up early morning to watch the sunrise at the high dune, and after breakfast in the desert camp we will ride the camels to visit and have a lunch with nomad family. Then we will ride the camels to the camp, we will visit a oasis into the dunes and we walk back to the camp after the sunset, dinner and overnight in Nomad tents. The next day in morning we will ride the camel backing to Merzouga after the sunrise, you’ll have the breakfast and shower in the hotel.

3 Nights Camel Trekking in Erg chebbi & Erg znigue Merzouga
Day 1 first night : Erg chebbi Desert.
After the breakfast we will start The trip in 09:00 straight to the desert by camels,To explore to ride a camel in sand dunes,One hour and half to get the old village behind erg chebbi desert,We will have a lunch with beduin person in his home,Tents and old houses ,It’s great moment to live a desert life when you will live in a magic world at Youssef place,The lunch will be with berber pizza and you will have the opportunity to watch how the real inhabitant of desert prepared the bread ,The place is an Treasure of old berber heritage! After lunch and relax we will go for trekking,To visit desert mountains and moroccan soldiers place which it was for french soldiers in the war time,You can take a historic pictures from that place,Later we will come back to Youssef place to spend the night ,The sunset will be in the way, Dinner will be with desert salade together with sky full of stars.
After dinner we will tells you a story of desert ,Also from youssef the owner of the heritage place,and some riddles of desert which it will be funny time:) you will sleep in private tent as nomadic people in their old life.
Day 2 Segund night : old village plus black desert plus Erg znaigue.
You will wake up to watch the sunrise in mountain with algerian border,In the someplace you can take the pictures from door of your tent, When you will be ready after breakfast we can ride the camels or walk ,Straight to Erg znaigue via black desert for three hours,Our day will be mixed between sand dunes and mountains and desert stones,The lunch will be an berber salade under the shadow of the trees,We can relax there for one hour for listen to the desert selince,Befor the sunset we will continue to Erg znaigue,You will walk up to the sand dunes to watch the sun goes down,You will sleep in tents equipped with a small restaurant where you will have your dinners,Or eat with stars out side the building, Also you can take a shower in the same place out the tents for few meters.
Day 3 third night : Tour of Erg znaigue by camels and trekking walking.
After the breakfast we will ride a camels for an nice tour arround erg znaigue desert,its an desert clean and quiet our day will be between the sand dunes and mountains ,we will watch nomade life in our way to the place of lunch,our lunch will be under the shadow of the trees with rural salade,after an lovely relax we will walk or ride the camels come back to bivouac erg znaigue to spent the night,you will walk up to the dunes to watch the sunset ,you come back you find the tea waiting for you under milion stars out the tents,dinner and sleep for next morning ,
After the breakfast we will ride a camels or walk ,again you are free to ride the camels or to walk, after two hours we will arrived to black people in khamlia village for listen to the african music,dance withem and have a lunch in that african village.
In the afternoon we will walk stright or ride the camels to my village Tiharien , and the end of our Trip!

Sunset Camel Tour in Erg Chebbi Merzouga :
The Sunset tour begins at around 5:30pm. It takes almost half an hour to reach the sand dunes of Erg chebbi Merzouga riding a camel. Then, we will leave the camels at about 80 meters to reach the highest dune of Merzouga.
For those who want to see a panoramic view they must climb to the top, it will take them another 10 minutes. If you prefer not to hike up the highest dunes, the area around the camel “parking” is perfect to watch the sunset. After having enjoyed that short time we travel back to the hotel/riad. This tour includes a stop at the garden oasis where you will have a short explanation about the canal system.
Sunrise Camel Tour :
The Sunrise Tour starts early and takes 35 minutes to reach the highest dune of (Erg chebbi) Merzouga. This tour includes a visit to the garden on the way back. For this tour you don’t need to set the alarm clock. Enjoy your night and we will come around for a wake-up call.
How To get to Merzouga :
BUS TIME INFORMATIONS
From Fes: There are daily bus from Fes to Merzouga, leave Fes at 20:00 “Night time” and arrive to Merzouga at 05:00 in the morning, the Bus called “SUPRATOURS”.
From Marrakech: There are a daily day bus leave Marrakech at 08:00 in the morning and arrive to Merzouga at 20:00 “Night time” the bus called (SUPRATOURS).
3- How you will meet us in Merzouga (desert)??
If you come by bus from Marrakech or Fes: We will meet you in Merzouga bus station and and then pick up you there.
If you have a rental car: We will meet you at our Auberge in Merzouga where you will have a room to leave your luggage that you will not take with you to the desert and for shower when you come back from your desert camel trek!
